In suitable conditions, the Koolaire KYT-1700A ice machine head can produce 1,800 pounds within 24 hours if outside conditions are ideal.but produces 1,380 pounds on average. To create the cubes, a tube distributes water over the evaporator grid as a shield helps redirect excess liquid so that water stays away from the other components. The grid then gives the cubes their shape as they freeze.
The Koolaire KT-1700A ice maker head has an exterior with the appearance of stainless steel, and its sleek finish resists finger smudges and smears. The machine’s condenser is cooled by air, which cuts down on water bills when compared to a water-cooled unit. For maintenance, parts such as the water shield and pump can be removed without a screwdriver. The food area is made of white plastic, which contrasts with debris and dirt so that staff can see spots that need to be cleaned.
